Meet Clare Spinks

Founder Clare Spinks runs Mindful Mini Yogis, teaching yoga and mindfulness classes for children aged three to eight in Liverpool and West Lancashire.

As Clare describes it, the company teaches children “strategies to deal with emotions”.

What made you choose to switch?

For Clare, the cash incentive she received as part of Business Banking Switch was “crucial” in growing the business.

“Getting the reward has meant that I’ve been able to expand my business by taking on some additional training to become a baby yoga and massage instructor, as well as my kids yoga classes.

I also was able to buy a new camera to improve the quality of the photographs I can take in my classes for when I do my marketing and promotion online.”

Why did you choose the bank you did?

Clare receives fee-free business banking for an initial fixed period, and great mobile banking was important because she is always on the move with the business.

“Most of my customers pay (separately) online”, she said. “I could potentially be charged a lot of money a month.”

“The app is really easy to use”, Clare said of her new bank. “It’s been great."

How did you find the switching process?

“The switching process was just really straight forward. I didn’t have to go to a branch. I literally just could do it all on my computer, do it all on my phone."

“Once I put in all the details everything was transferred over. That was a weight off my mind. It took about a week and a half and it was done.”
